“If you’re looking for the typical Ibiza experience — beach clubs, crowds, and loud nightlife — Aguamadera isn’t it. But if, like me, you’re craving something slower, more grounded, and restorative, this place is kind of a dream. Me and my husband stayed from the 15th of September until the 23rd, and our stay has been nothing short of amazing! Tucked away in the Ibizan countryside, it feels like a calm pocket of the island — surrounded by olive trees, herbal gardens, and silence. The design is simple but beautiful: earthy tones, natural textures, and just the right amount of rustic charm without sacrificing comfort. It’s the kind of place where you naturally slow down — no pressure to do anything, just space to be. What really stood out to me, though, was the service. Genuinely warm, intuitive, and personal — the kind where people remember your name, your preferences, and make everything feel easy without being intrusive. You get the sense that everyone working here wants to be here, and it makes all the difference. The food is another highlight — local, seasonal, and full of flavor. I especially loved the slow breakfasts and the wood-fired dinners, which felt more like gatherings than just meals. Yes, it’s a little remote, and the road in can be a bit rough, but to me that just added to the feeling of really getting away. Aguamadera isn’t trying to impress with flash — it’s all about presence, simplicity, and care. And it absolutely delivers.”
“Aguamadera is a true sanctuary, and a definite gem. In every way possible, the staff went above and beyond. The staff genuinely cared and met all my needs.I felt the invitation to slow down and reconnect amidst the space’s serene, Zen-like calm. The food was fresh and exceptional! Every meal felt nourishing, with beautiful farm-to-table ingredients that left me feeling lighter, healthier, and deeply satisfied. I also had the chance to experience a cranial sacral session during my stay, which was profoundly grounding. It was a recalibration I didn’t even know I needed - thank you, Miriam de Santos! Combined with the peaceful atmosphere and mindful touches throughout my stay at Aguamadera, this hotel is truly a haven for anyone seeking restoration and balance. I can’t recommend it enough, and the people there made me feel very much at home. Gracias! Ingrid A.”
“I first came here for a sound bath and breathwork session in the dedicated well-being room, which was already a beautiful experience. As I walked into the hotel, I was instantly drawn in by the smells and view of the kitchen, so I booked myself in for dinner. They only allow external guests to dine in the evening, so I was lucky to get a spot. It turned out to be the perfect way to end my trip to Ibiza. The food was outstanding, the service excellent, and I enjoyed it all while watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand. I was blown away by the whole experience – and at just over €100 for three courses and a cocktail, it felt like great value for money on the island. I’ll definitely be coming back”
“Hotel is super nice and quiet (in september). Be aware that the road is difficult, but it’s worth the ride up the hill. We would love to come back one day.”
“Such an amazing hotel, perfect for couples looking for a tranquil getaway! Couldn’t find a fault - really friendly service, great food, stunning design, many areas to switch off (lounges by the pool, sunny chairs in the garden, indoor fireplace). Will definitely come back with friends!”
“A review for restaurant La Era: Our most special night in Ibiza. We had stunning cocktails, smoked sardine & mussels. Followed by pork belly and fig with stracciatella and arugula salad. Blissful. Wine pairing was phenomenal. The sunset was just glorious and the setting beyond words. Go a little before 8 to catch the gorgeous colours Add this to your list!!”
“Wow. What a find. Impeccable service, tranquil setting and delicious food. A wonderful way to end our break in Ibiza. We feel relaxed and rejuvenated after a night in the mountains. Even when it was raining it was incredibly calming and relaxing. The staff are brilliant and can’t do enough for you. A truly special place.”
